Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing excellent service.

This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting both the housekeeping and catering needs of the nursery. You will:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the nursery, including playrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and communal areas. Support with laundry and ensuring resources are clean and ready for use. Cover cooking duties when our nursery cook is absent--preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children, following dietary requirements and allergy procedures. Work as part of the team to ensure the nursery environment is safe, welcoming, and homely for children and families.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards (experience in a childcare or similar setting is desirable). Confident in preparing and cooking meals (training can be provided, food hygiene certificate is an advantage). Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Friendly, approachable, and committed to creating a positive environment for children.

Pay: 12.61 per hour
