We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking
Nursery Housekeeper
to support our busy early-years setting, Wee Gems Broxburn. This is an essential role that helps us maintain a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for the children in our care.Duties
Lunch service:
Assist with serving nutritious lunches to children.Kitchen duties:
Wash dishes, maintain tidiness, and ensure food preparation areas meet hygiene standards.Food preparation:
Prepare light afternoon meals and snacks following nursery guidelines.Cleaning duties:
Maintain the cleanliness of nursery rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, including daily cleaning routines and occasional deep-clean tasks.Support the team:
Work collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure smooth daily operations.Skills
Are organised, proactive, and able to manage your workload independently. Have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Are warm, positive, and enjoy being part of a team. Have experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or catering (preferred but not essential). Hold a Food Hygiene certificate (or are willing to obtain one).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.21-12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
