Are you passionate about creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for children to thrive? Hopscotch Children's Nurseries in Hove is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Nursery Housekeeper to join our team.

Position: Nursery Housekeeper

Location: Hove

Hours: 30 hours per week, 6 hours Monday to Friday

Salary: 12.75 per hour

Holidays: 28 days (including Bank Holidays)

About Us

As a Nursery Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining this environment and supporting our staff and children.

What You'll Do:

Ensure the nursery is kept clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times. Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing. Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces, including classrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Support with laundry, including washing, drying, and organizing. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. Work closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for children, parents, and staff.

What You Bring to the Team:

Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role (preferably in a childcare or educational setting). An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong organizational and time management skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A friendly and positive attitude.
