The Mrs. Cameron Day Nursery is located within the picturesque and tranquil location of Gonville and Caius College in the centre of Cambridge. The total capacity is 25 children split between three rooms; 0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 years. The nursery employs 8 full and part-time staff and is open from 8.30am - 5.15pm 52 weeks a year.

The nursery is operated on behalf of Gonville & Caius college, by Wigwam Nurseries Ltd who are a well established group of 5 day nurseries. Each nursery has been carefully adapted and refurbished to an extremely high standard and is well equipped with natural, high quality, stimulating resources.

What will I be doing as a Nursery Kitchen Assistant?

?Serving home cooked lunchtime meals for 25 children per day, that have been cooked by the college and delivered to the nursery.

?Preparing and serving an afternoon snack and high tea.

?Following SFBB and ensuring a well organised and clean kitchen and nursery environment.

?Washing up & cleaning away after meals.

?Laundering nursery linen.

What hours will i be working?

? Monday to Friday 11am-4pm (25 hours).

This position would suit somebody with experience of working within a school / nursery environment, although this is not essential.
