Job Description

HOUSEKEEPER

Purpose of Post

To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Nursery.

Key Areas

To develop routines to ensure all areas of the Nursery are maintained to high standards of cleanliness. To ensure all basic hygiene procedures are followed while working in the kitchen. To ensure laundry is washed and dried in line with infection control.

Responsible To:

Nursery Manager / Owners

Main Duties

To sweep and mop all rooms at the end of the day . To be responsible for the laundry. Empty and wash out bins in all rooms. Tidy and dust all areas of the nursery. Vacuum all carpets. Clean toilets and hand basins. Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the manager. Ensure rooms are stocked with cleaning materials at all times. Lock or unlock the building securely. Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
