Dean Close Little Trees Nursery, Newport are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, reliable Housekeeper to join the team.

Main Purpose of the role: Keeping the nursery clean and tidy throughout.

Duties will include:

Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning all rooms of the nursery, emptying all bins, dusting all woodwork, cleaning toilets, sinks and floors of all bathroom areas.

Working as part of a Team, where all members are valued under the supervision of the Nursery Manager and/or Deputy Manager with responsibility for the safe and efficient cleaning of the Nursery.

To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery in accordance with Environmental Health procedures

Maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety apply to children, colleagues, parents and visitors, maintaining a safe and secure environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning. Previous hotel or institutional cleaning experience is advantageous. Excellent time management skills. Reliable and trustworthy with a professional attitude.

Pay: 9.00-12.41 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
