Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support chefs and kitchen staff in cooking and plating dishes Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety regulations Organise ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient workflow during service periods Help with serving food Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers, adhering to health and safety guidelines Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a professional kitchen environment is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy times Good organisational skills with attention to detail Strong team player with excellent communication skills Willingness to learn new culinary techniques and adapt to different roles within the kitchen environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
