You'll be working in a supportive and friendly environment, helping to keep our kitchen running smoothly and our children happy and well-fed.

Whether you've worked in childcare kitchens before or are just starting out in catering if you care about food, hygiene and supporting young children's health, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting our Nursery Cook with preparing and serving meals and snacks Ensuring the kitchen is clean, safe, and hygienic at all times Washing up, tidying and keeping kitchen areas organised Checking and recording food temperatures (with training) Preparing ingredients such as fruit, veg, and toast Helping to ensure allergens are clearly managed and labelled Occasionally delivering meals to nursery rooms and clearing away after meals
We're Looking For Someone Who:

Is reliable, organised, and has a good eye for cleanliness Has some experience in kitchens or food preparation (preferred) Understands or is willing to learn about food hygiene, allergies, and safety standards Is happy to work in a busy nursery environment and around young children Can work independently and as part of a team Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate -- or willing to complete one with us
