Prepare and serve pre-cooked meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements.
Kitchen maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment by cleaning equipment, surfaces, and floors, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
Stock and waste management:
Receiving and unloading food and equipment deliveries. Assist with managing stock levels, checking sell-by dates, rotating stock, minimising food wastage and online ordering.
Compliance and record-keeping:
Ensure the kitchen complies with all food safety, hygiene, and legislative requirements, and maintain any necessary records. Input menu on cloud software.
Team collaboration:
Work with staff to create a positive and safe environment for the children.
General:
Adhoc cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or be willing to undertake and pass online course.
Right to work in the UK.
Salary:
12.21 an hour
Hours:
10am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts. This post will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our Safeguarding Duty.
