Nursery Manager Position - Queens Park, Bedford

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? We have a vacancy at our independent day nursery in Queens Park, Bedford. As the Nursery Manager, you'll have the chance to shape the future of our nursery and drive growth.

Responsibilities:

- Leadership: Oversee planning, monitoring, and development of the nursery setting.

- Inclusion: Promote equality and diversity across all areas of practice.

- Safety: Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.

- Staff Management: Supervise and review staff performance and development.

- Collaboration: Maintain professional relationships with external agencies.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 3 years in nursery management.

- Knowledge: Familiarity with Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted standards.

- Skills: Ability to work to deadlines, reliability, and flexibility.

- Education: Maths GCSE or equivalent.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Organise and supervise child care workers.

- Understand children's strengths, interests, and learning styles.

- Collaborate with parents to prepare children for school.

- Engage with professionals and the community to enhance children's learning.

- Develop a plan to meet government standards.

- Support parents in preparing their children for school.

Term: This is a term-time-only position (+4 weeks) until a review in September 2025.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,500.00 per year
