, you'll take full responsibility for the operational and strategic leadership of the setting. You'll lead by example, ensuring the nursery runs smoothly, remains fully compliant, and delivers outstanding outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of passionate Early Years practitioners.
Deliver the EYFS curriculum effectively and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Maintain full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance, and staff development.
Monitor occupancy levels, budgets, and commercial performance.
Drive inspection readiness and maintain an environment of excellence.
About You
You're an inspiring, confident leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a drive for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable).
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
Excellent understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A child-centred approach and commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality childcare.
