About the Role



As

Nursery Manager

, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running and long-term success of the nursery. You'll lead by example, maintaining compliance, driving quality improvement, and supporting your team to achieve the very best standards in Early Years education and care.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the smooth and efficient daily operations of the nursery. Lead, motivate, and support a high-performing team of Early Years Practitioners. Deliver and embed the

EYFS curriculum

, ensuring every child receives high-quality learning experiences. Maintain full compliance with

Ofsted

,

safeguarding

, and

health & safety

standards. Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and the local community. Recruit, induct, and develop staff, supporting ongoing training and professional growth. Manage occupancy levels, budgets, and commercial performance to ensure sustainability. Drive inspection readiness, continuous improvement, and a culture of excellence.

About You



You're an inspiring, confident leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:



Minimum

Level 3 qualification

in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable). Proven experience as a

Nursery Manager

or

Deputy Nursery Manager

. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding frameworks. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A proactive, solution-driven mindset and dedication to delivering inclusive, high-quality childcare. Eligibility to work in the UK.
