About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the nursery's day-to-day operations and long-term development. You will lead by example, ensuring compliance, driving quality improvements, and supporting your team to deliver outstanding Early Years education and care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the smooth and efficient daily running of the nursery.
Lead, motivate, and support a high-performing team of Early Years Practitioners.
Deliver and embed a high-quality EYFS curriculum tailored to each child's needs.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements.
Build strong, trusted relationships with parents, carers, and the local community.
Recruit, induct, and develop staff, supporting ongoing training and professional growth.
Manage occupancy, budgets, and commercial performance to ensure long-term sustainability.
Drive inspection readiness and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
About You
You are an inspiring, confident leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and care.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding frameworks.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A proactive, solution-focused approach and commitment to inclusive, high-quality childcare.
