Archfield has been a family run nursery since 1986 and is situated in a beautiful building that has expanded over the past 15 years with a fantastic outdoor space, it also operates Forest and Beach School sessions for pre-school children twice a week. Archfield has had 2 consecutive Ofsted Outstanding ratings and was awarded Nursery of the Year at the 2023 Nursery World Awards. It is also a partner setting of the Bristol and Beyond Stronger Practice Hub.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring

Nursery Manager

to lead our setting. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of early years education and care whilst fostering a positive environment for both children and staff. Join us in making a meaningful difference in early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily running of the setting, ensuring the highest standards of care and education. Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. Support and mentor staff to deliver outstanding early years practice. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community. Manage staffing, training, rotas, and recruitment. Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.

About you:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ or Early Years Degree desirable). At least 5 years' experience working with children under 5, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements. Passionate about supporting children's development and inspiring your team. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
