We are delighted to be recruiting a

Nursery Manager

for a

brand-new nursery in Broxbourne

, opening soon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate early years professional to

start prior to opening

and play a key role in supporting the full

set-up and launch

of the nursery.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the

day-to-day management

of the nursery and will be closely involved in preparing the setting ahead of opening. This includes supporting recruitment, setting up policies and systems, and helping to create a positive, high-quality learning environment from day one.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys

building a nursery from the ground up

and working collaboratively with owners to establish an outstanding provision.

Key Responsibilities

Support the

pre-opening setup

, including recruitment, policies, and operational systems Oversee the smooth daily running of the nursery once open Lead, motivate, and manage staff, including inductions and appraisals Ensure full compliance with

EYFS

and

Ofsted

requirements Build strong relationships with parents and carers Manage occupancy, ratios, rotas, and budgets Prepare for and support

Ofsted registration and inspection

Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety

Requirements

Minimum

Level 3 Early Years qualification

(Level 5 or above desirable) Previous experience as a

Nursery Manager

Strong knowledge of

EYFS

, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements Confident leadership and organisational skills Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare
