About the Role

Are you a dynamic leader committed to giving children the best start in life? Doodles is looking for an enthusiastic, "hands-on" Nursery Manager to lead our thriving nursery and holiday club. You will be the driving force behind our educational standards, ensuring we deliver outstanding outcomes for every child while fostering a "magical" and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

Support, Manage, and inspire a team of 12; conduct regular staff supervisions, staff meetings and performance observations.

Educational Excellence:

Develop and implement a rich, engaging curriculum tailored to individual needs; ensure high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS.

Operations & Compliance:

Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery and holiday club, ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory frameworks.

Growth & Culture:

Drive the growth of the nursery while maintaining a positive, inclusive culture for staff, parents, and children.

People Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor staff to support their ongoing professional development.

Relationship Management:

Build strong, communicative partnerships with parents/ families and outside agencies.

About You

Experienced:

Managing a team within an Early Years setting.

Qualified:

Hold a minimum of a

Level 3 Early Years qualification

(Level 5 or Degree preferred).

Expert Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the EYFS, statutory frameworks, and safeguarding practices.

Visionary:

Someone who "thinks outside the box" to create a warm, safe, and magical learning space.

Reflective:

Ability to review current practices and implement continuous improvements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
