Our nursery is seeking a dynamic leader who will be able to successfully manage the day to day running of the nursery and deliver high standards of care and education to all children. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience as a nursery manager, an interest in developing the talent of younger generations and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.

You will be able to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and its team

You will be comfortable being responsible for keeping clear and accurate records and specifically writing clear objective observations

You have excellent planning, organisation, IT and presentation skills

You are a strong communicator and are able to motivate, manage and work productively with your team

You are able to identify training needs and develop training plans for your team

You will be comfortable recruiting, inducting, supporting, training and conducting appraisals for your team

You are able to work with parents, outside agencies, manage running costs, facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendation

You MUST have an in depth knowledge of the new EYFS and Ofsted framework

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and safe environment. Supervise staff. Assign staff tasks. Ensure all staff are completing their relevant tasks Regular staff supervisions are carried out Handle food preparation. Answer questions about the nurseries policies. Ensure that break times are enjoyed by children and staff. Accompany children in outings. Follow regulations and policies about food handling, health, and safety. Must be able to use own initiative
MUST HAVE A LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS MINIMUM AS A NURSERY MANAGER

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 36,000.00 per year
