Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role requires effective communication and the ability to manage a team while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for developing educational programmes, managing staff, and engaging with parents to foster a community spirit.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children. Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocation. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming atmosphere. Pack away setting Willing to take a key group and be a role model for other staff

Experience

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A background in managing nurseries or similar childcare settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education. A passion for working with children and creating enriching experiences for their growth.
