Twin Gables Nursery is seeking an experienced and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead the day to day running of our busy and well established nursery. The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, educational, and regulatory success of the nursery. You will lead by example, creating a positive and professional culture where children, families, and staff feel supported and inspired. Implementation of new ideas whilst looking at how you can make the nursery outstanding will become second nature to you and the team.
About You
You will be a confident and effective communicator with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy and best practice. You will be compassionate, organised, and solutions focused, with experience of working with regulatory bodies and maintaining compliance. You will be motivated to develop others and build a strong, high performing team, bringing energy, ambition, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding care and education across all areas of the nursery
Lead, manage, and coach a team of 17 to 25 early years professionals
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and all relevant legislation
Provide on the job training, guidance, and professional development
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
Oversee staffing ratios, rotas, budgets, planning, and daily logistics
Carry out daily risk assessments and review policies and procedures
Work flexibly within nursery opening hours
What You Will Need
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager, ideally within an Outstanding setting
A structured, organised, and detail focused approach
High energy, resilience, and a solutions driven mindset
A relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
A positive, professional attitude and strong leadership skills
The ability to recruit, develop, and retain a committed team
