Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: 38,000 per annum

Location: Chafford Hundred

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our

welcoming and high-quality early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong

leader who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery,

ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You will lead and inspire a

dedicated team, build strong relationships with families, and ensure the nursery operates

efficiently and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years
practice

Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements Oversee staffing, rotas, recruitment, and performance management Maintain high standards of care, learning, and development for all children Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies Manage budgets, occupancy, and nursery administration Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
About You:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5/6 desirable)

Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager role

Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

A genuine passion for early years education and child development
