Nursery Manager - Lead with Purpose, Inspire with Care

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You will inspire, support, and develop your team while maintaining the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Lead, manage, and mentor Early Years practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare and education. Ensure planning and curriculum delivery meet EYFS requirements. Promote a positive, inclusive culture focused on wellbeing and continuous improvement. Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and professional development. Support enrolment, occupancy growth, and effective resource management. Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Maintain full compliance with Ofsted standards and all statutory requirements.

About You

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above preferred). Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and statutory frameworks. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A child-centred approach with a passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
