Nursery Manager
to lead our team as we prepare to open our
newly refurbished, modern nursery setting
in early 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is ready for a fresh challenge and eager to shape an exceptional environment for children, families, and staff.
About the Role
:
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Lead, motivate, and inspire a committed staff team
Role model high-quality interactions with children
, embedding best practice across the setting
Ensure the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding
Oversee the smooth day-to-day operational running of the nursery
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
Drive continuous improvement to achieve the best possible outcomes for children
Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
Support staff development, wellbeing, supervision, and training
What You Won't Be Responsible For:
We want our Nursery Manager focused on leadership, quality, and outcomes for children. You will
not
be responsible for:
Day-to-day administrative tasks (dedicated admin support on site)
Managing invoices, accounts, or financial processing
Payroll or finance administration
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
A qualified Early Years professional (
Level 3 minimum; Level 5/6 desirable
)
Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
A proven and experienced Nursery Manager
, with a track record of leadership
Confident in leading teams and managing nursery operations
Highly knowledgeable in EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted expectations
Passionate, organised, and able to
drive positive change to improve outcomes for children
Skilled at creating a positive, nurturing, and professional culture for both children and staff
