A position has become available for an experienced Nursery Manager an independent day nursery in Barkingside, Ilford.

This is a perfect opportunity for a creative and driven individual having scope and support to develop and implement your vision and ideas to deliver further success and growth within the nursery setting. You will be part of a small group with a strong sense of leadership and direction.

About the position

Your role:

Overseeing the planning, monitoring, and development of the nursery setting Supporting and promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of practice Ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating environment Supervising and reviewing staff development and performance Developing and maintaining professional relationships with external agencies
What you will need:

A minimum 3 years nursery management experience A sound knowledge of the latest Early Years Foundation Stage framework and regulations Sound knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements An ability to work to deadlines Friendly, reliable and flexible approach
Responsibilities:

Organise and supervise a team of child care staff. Find out what children are good at, what they enjoy doing and how they learn best. Work with parents on ways to help their children to prepare for school. Work with other professionals and the community to help children learn and develop. Develop a plan on how the nursery will meet government standards. Help parents to get their children ready for school.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-40,000.00 per year
