My Playroom Nursery is a beautifully curated early years setting designed to inspire. With luxury interiors and a unique educational approach, we blend creativity, structure, and high-quality practice in a thoughtfully designed space. We're now looking for an experienced, motivated Nursery Manager to lead our team and help shape the continued growth of our boutique nursery.
About Us
We are a newly established nursery with a clear and creative vision. From our Play-Doh pop-up restaurant and atelier art space to child-led violin sessions, karate classes, and immersive role play corners, every area is designed to excite and engage.
We follow the EYFS framework and bring it to life through meaningful, hands-on learning. Our curriculum is guided by children's interests, developmental needs, and real-world experiences--always underpinned by a commitment to quality, care, and creativity.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, ensuring the setting runs smoothly. You'll work closely with the nursery owner to lead with integrity, drive high-quality standards, and nurture a warm, inspiring environment.
You'll lead a small but passionate team, with hands-on support from the owner and regular administrative help.
This role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager ready for a step up, a current Manager seeking a more creative, nurturing environment, or an ambitious early years professional with strong leadership experience and a passion for quality practice.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily nursery operations with care and professionalism
Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
Support and lead the team with clarity, kindness, and ambition
Drive quality through planning, observations, and curriculum input
Build strong relationships with parents and external professionals
Monitor practice and support ongoing quality improvement across the setting
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualified (Level 5 or above preferred)
Previous leadership experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy
Confident knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards
Strong organisational skills and a calm, proactive leadership style
Passion for early education and a creative, child-centred approach
Benefits
4-day working week (Fridays off for better work-life balance)
Your birthday off - because you deserve to celebrate!
Christmas to New Year closure
Beautiful, luxury-designed environment that inspires children and staff alike
Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Supportive, collaborative environment with hands-on involvement from the owner
Free onsite parking and great transport links
Opportunities to shape a growing brand and make your mark in an innovative setting
