As the Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the setting with a hands-on and collaborative approach, maintaining high standards of care and education
Implement an ambitious curriculum for all children
Support and lead a team of experienced & friendly practitioners whilst promoting staff development through role modelling and best practices
Lead the childcare team, developing strong & positive relationships with colleagues, parents, children and outside agencies
Promote nursery values and implement nursery policies to an outstanding level
Carry out all related responsibilities in building relationships of children and their families according to the curriculum
Ensure the safety of all children, adhering to Health and Safety and Safeguarding legislation
Work closely with the directors to grow and promote the setting
Essential Skills and Experience:
A passionate and positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable
Manager/Deputy experience
Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to train staff in this area
Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
Excellent understanding of EYFS
Extensive knowledge of safeguarding.
Leadership experience within a nursery setting.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
An enthusiastic and proactive leader with experience of leading, motivating and developing others
Commitment to the team, supporting colleagues to work together to ensure continuous improvement and the delivery of high levels of learning outcomes for all children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions with children at the centre

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
