JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead your nursery teams to deliver outstanding care to all the children in your setting.
Through your inspirational leadership drive employee engagement, retention and performance in the nursery.
Work in partnership with Recruitment and HR to ensure your nursery is fully recruited, encourage a diverse workforce.
Role model and mentor your nursery team to ensure the highest quality early childhood practice and experience for all children, including children with special education needs and/or disabilities.
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the Nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Monitoring the children's learning and development and reporting progress to family.
Work in partnership with HR to identify succession plans for the nursery team and nurture, create and continuously develop a pipeline of high performing colleagues, building the strongest talent pool in the sector.
Engage with the Local Authority to understand the local offer, to support practice in all areas of the nursery.
Building caring relationships with children, families and your team.
Communicating with your team and the families at your nursery through regular updates.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
A good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum
Have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in childcare.
A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
The preparations and responsibilities before Ofsted visits.
How to derive the solution for resolving issues and complaints as per Abcfabulous policies and procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
