Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in managing childcare settings. This role requires effective leadership and communication skills to ensure a nurturing and safe environment for children.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and well-being. Oversee daily activities, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient nursery operations. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement necessary interventions as needed.

Skills

Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff members. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Ability to drive is preferred for transporting children or staff as needed.
