About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced
Nursery Manager
to lead our new setting and help bring our vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to join from the very beginning -- shaping our ethos, team, and daily practice.
You'll oversee the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and early years education. You'll inspire and support a small, dedicated team, and build strong relationships with families in our community.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the nursery in line with Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
Lead, motivate, and support a small team of practitioners.
Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
Promote the nursery's values of kindness, curiosity, and community.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
Level 3 Early Years qualification
(Level 5 or above preferred).
Previous experience as a
Nursery Manager
or
Deputy Manager
.
Excellent understanding of
EYFS
,
Ofsted standards
, and
safeguarding
.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A hands-on, positive approach and genuine passion for early years education.

Skills
Proven management experience in a childcare or nursery setting.

Ability to drive is advantageous for transportation needs related to nursery activities.
