We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role requires effective communication and management abilities to ensure a nurturing and safe environment for children. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for driving the nursery's vision while fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and children.
Duties
Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff to promote professional development and teamwork.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children.
Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and inventory management within the nursery.
Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programmes accordingly.
Foster positive relationships with local community resources to enhance nursery offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of nursery operations, including health and safety regulations.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development.
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are desirable.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
