Babystepschildcare Ltd is a small family ran setting in Smethwick, B67 5AQ. We are agile, and our goal is to offer the best care for the families in our community.

Our work environment includes:

an open planned nursery for 45 places available
```Duties```
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including plant care, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve nursery efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise and train nursery staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the nursery is well-maintained, clean, and organized.
- Monitor plant health and implement pest control measures as necessary.
- Assist customers with plant selection, provide gardening advice, and answer inquiries.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate supply of plants and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.

```Experience```
- Previous experience in a nursery or horticulture-related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of various plant species, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in plant selection and provide gardening advice.
- Proficient in inventory management and record keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
