Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery
Ensure full compliance with
EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding requirements
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (or be willing to train)
Manage staff rotas, supervisions, appraisals and performance
Support and develop staff, including apprentices and room leaders
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and care
Build positive relationships with parents and carers
Oversee policies, risk assessments and quality improvement
About You
Level 3 Early Years qualification essential (Level 5+ desirable)
Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or similar
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Confident, supportive leadership style
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Passionate about child-centred, inclusive practice
