Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Nursery Manager

to lead our setting of 44 children and 15 staff. This role is predominantly focused on developing staff practice and ensuring the smooth provision of high-quality care and education on a daily basis. This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting staff while not being office-based or included in the staff-to-child ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop nursery staff to maintain high-quality practice. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback, training, and development opportunities. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and safeguarding regulations. Implement and evaluate educational programs to meet the developmental needs of children. Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and external agencies. Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the nursery. Support staff in planning, observation, and assessment of children's learning and progress.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a nursery management role or leadership in early years education. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential. Passionate about child development and delivering high-quality care.
