Nursery Manager

Pay:

From 30,000 - 45,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, proven nursery management experience, and the drive to deliver high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and Ofsted standards. Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of childcare professionals to maintain a positive, supportive, and high-performing environment. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and address any concerns. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and stimulating for children to learn, explore, and develop. Supervise staff training and professional development to uphold high standards of care and education. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).

Requirements:

Proven experience in nursery management and team leadership. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and EYFS framework. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Relevant childcare or early years qualification (Level 3 or above). Previous experience working in a senior position
