We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a high-quality early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable childcare professional who is passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children. You will lead a team of early years practitioners, drive continuous improvement, and build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all operational aspects of the nursery, including curriculum delivery, staffing, and administration
Ensure full compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding standards, and Ofsted regulations
Lead, manage, and support staff to maintain high standards of care and education
Plan and deliver a broad and engaging curriculum that meets the individual needs of each child
Monitor health and safety practices and ensure all statutory requirements are met
Manage budgets, occupancy targets, and financial reporting
Build positive relationships with families, promoting open communication and involvement
Prepare for and participate in inspections and audits, maintaining a consistently high standard across the setting
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a leadership role within an early years setting (Deputy or Nursery Manager)
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A commitment to providing high-quality early years care and education
