Nursery Manager - Lead, Inspire, Deliver Outstanding Early Years Practice

About the Role



As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and educational performance of the nursery. You will lead and develop a team of Early Years professionals, promote a culture of inclusion and high standards, and ensure every child benefits from a safe, inspiring, and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee daily nursery operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality setting. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Early Years practitioners. Ensure curriculum planning and delivery align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports children's wellbeing and staff development. Manage recruitment, inductions, performance reviews, and training plans. Support occupancy growth and contribute to budget and resource planning. Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Maintain full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and all statutory requirements.

About You

Requirements:



Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above preferred). Previous leadership or management experience within an Early Years setting. Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding legislation, and health & safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A child-centred approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and best practice. Eligibility to work in the UK.
