Nursery Manager
Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Nursery Manager in one of our nurseries in Cabbage Patch Nursery in Wishaw. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management, running and development of the nursery. They will have excellent knowledge and skills to undertake the role and the ability to work in partnership with parents, staff and multidisciplinary professionals. The applicant must be able to lead learning, plan and implement relevant national and local policies including Curriculum for Excellence, realising the ambition and GIRFEC. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all the requirements of Care Inspectorate, SSSC and any other relevant bodies.Applicants must currently hold a relevant childcare qualification at HNC or SVQ Level 3 and have or be willing to work towards BA in Childhood Practice. Applicants must be eligible to register with the SSSC and will be required to become a member of the PVG scheme. Hours will be between 7.30 am and 6.00pm, 37.5 hours per week over shift patterns, can be flexible, negotiable 4 or 5 day week. Please e-mail CV and include current salary if applicable.
