The Role
As
Nursery Manager
, you will take overall responsibility for the success and smooth running of the nursery. You'll combine confident leadership with a hands-on approach, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily nursery operations, including staffing, curriculum delivery, budgeting, and administration.
Lead and support your team to deliver a high-quality
EYFS curriculum
tailored to every child's needs.
Maintain full compliance with
Ofsted
,
safeguarding
, and
health & safety
regulations.
Recruit, develop, and retain a motivated, high-performing team of practitioners.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and the local community.
Manage occupancy levels and ensure financial performance targets are achieved.
Drive inspection readiness and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
About You
You are an inspiring, confident leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a commitment to delivering the very best outcomes for children.
Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 qualification
in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable).
Proven leadership experience as a
Nursery Manager
or
Deputy Nursery Manager
.
Excellent knowledge of the
EYFS
,
Ofsted
, and
safeguarding
requirements.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
A proactive approach and commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality childcare.
