About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the smooth, successful running of the nursery. You will combine strong leadership with a hands-on approach to ensure exceptional care, compliance, and education across the setting.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations, including staffing, curriculum delivery, administration, and budgeting.
Lead and motivate the team to deliver a high-quality EYFS curriculum tailored to individual children.
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
Recruit, train, and retain a skilled and committed staff team.
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and the community.
Manage occupancy, admissions, and financial performance to achieve business targets.
Maintain inspection readiness and drive continuous improvement across the nursery.
About You
You are a confident, inspiring leader with a genuine passion for Early Years education and a commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes for children.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
Proven leadership experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted expectations, and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
A proactive, inclusive, and child-centred approach to nursery management.
