Job Description

Buttons Nursery is a long established children's day nursery based in Brecon, South Wales. Due to continued growth, we require a dedicated and professional team player. You will be required to work 16 hours per week, with more hours available, if required. Your hours can be spread across the week or Thursdays and Fridays, 8 hours per day. Your role will be vital to ensure that the highest quality childcare and development is delivered. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the role and be prepared to work under their own initiative. Previous experience of working in a childcare setting would be advantageous, although training can be provided.

Duties include :-.

Contribute to the planning and resourcing of activities and play opportunities that develop children's individual needs. Ensure children learn whilst having fun. Working under own initiative and as part of the nursery team. Keyworker for a small number of children, meeting individual needs and routines. Work in partnership with parents to keep them updated on their child's on-going development and daily activities. Adhering to the policies and procedures of the setting and helping to maintain a safe environment at all times.
You will require:-

Enhanced DBS check, if successful

Pay: From 12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
