Job Description

Little Acorns Nursery are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse to work in a fun, stimulating and family run nursery in the heart of Staffordshire countryside.

The key-duties of a Nursery Nurse include;

Fulfil the welfare requirements of the EYFS and have a sound understanding of the learning and development requirements. Play and support children's learning Plan for fun and stimulating activities indoors and outdoors Review and monitor your key-children's development, to ensure children's needs and development are met. Liaise with parent's and other professionals Work as part of a team.

Job Type / Category

The contract is a permanent position working either part time or full time 8 1/2 or 10 hour per day, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Shift patterns start from 7.30-4.30pm, 8am-5pm, 8.30am-5.30pm or 9am-6pm.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting Strong background in early childhood education Excellent communication skills to engage with children and parents Ability to demonstrate leadership and management skills in a nursery environment Proficiency in English, with a valid driving license preferred Passion for fostering a nurturing and educational atmosphere for young children

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 17 - 42.5 per week
