Nestlings Eco Nurseries are multi award-winning early years settings located in the Welsh capital - Cardiff. We're proud to provide an outstanding level of care and education, all within a beautifully designed and eco-conscious environments. Our team is made up of passionate, dedicated individuals who truly care about making a difference.

We're now expanding and looking for nurturing, enthusiastic Nursery Nurses / Early Years Practitioners to join our warm and friendly team at our new location within the David Lloyd Leisure Club.

The Role

We have positions available for both

Full-Time and Part-Time Nursery Nurses

, with flexible hours between 16-40 per week. Full-time team members can choose between a 4-day (36 hours) or 5-day (40 hours) working week. Staff at our David Lloyd site enjoy

free access to the leisure club

, including gym and spa facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support children's development and wellbeing in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Assist with planning and delivering activities based on the children's interests and the Foundation Phase. Work as a key person for a small group of children, building strong bonds with them and their families. Follow daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, rest, and play. Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment. Collaborate with your team and communicate effectively with parents and carers. Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

A caring, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Level 2 or Level 3 CCLD (or equivalent) qualification (Level 3 preferred). A genuine passion for working with young children. Some experience in a nursery or childcare setting (voluntary or paid). Understanding of the Foundation Phase and/or EYFS framework. Willingness to learn and be part of a supportive, collaborative team. Welsh language skills are a bonus but not required.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
