We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our nursery, ensuring they thrive in their early years.

Duties

Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that enhances children's social skills and emotional growth. Assist in the management of daily nursery operations, including maintaining resources and equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is desirable Level 2 OR 3. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for working with children and the ability to inspire them through play-based learning. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
