Job Summary

We are seeking 1 dedicated and compassionate level 3 Nursery Nurses to join our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to manage and communicate effectively with children and their families. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and well-being.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting between the ages 0-5. You will be a key person for a group of children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children are safe, happy, and engaged. Support children's emotional and social development through positive reinforcement and guidance. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, ensuring it is safe and welcoming for all children.

Requirements

Full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification Good working knowledge of EYFS Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment. Good working knowledge of safeguarding Experience within a nursery setting Paediatric First Aid trained (desirable but training can be provided)
We have 2 vacancies working 30+ per week, full time, all year round between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm.

Experience in a childcare setting is essential and applicants should be passionate, hardworking, well presented and work well within a team.

Pay from 11.44 per hour
