Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment for young learners. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities



Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication at all times. Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding health and safety, safeguarding, and child welfare. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Requirements



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3). Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to attend training as required. Pay: From 12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
