We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practioner to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires excellent leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage a team while fostering a nurturing environment for children.
Duties
Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Organise activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical development among children.
Monitor children's behaviour and development, addressing any issues promptly.
Collaborate with external agencies when necessary to support children's needs.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.
Strong organisational skills to manage daily operations efficiently.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a safe environment.
Level 3 in eyfs reqyired.
3 years experience required.
