We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong management and leadership skills, and be committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Duties



Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in the nursery. Supervise and support children during play, learning, and meal times, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Organise and lead group activities that promote social skills, creativity, and early learning concepts. Manage daily nursery operations, including ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the environment. Support the professional development of junior staff members through mentoring and guidance. Assist with administrative tasks such as planning schedules and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Drive company vehicles when necessary to facilitate outings or pick-ups/drop-offs.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting. Strong management and leadership capabilities to oversee daily activities and team coordination. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education. Childcare qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care or equivalent is preferred. Experience with nursery management systems is advantageous. Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or equipment when required. A caring attitude combined with organisational skills to create a welcoming environment for young learners. Pay: 26,000.00-33,882.67 per year
