Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to work for an established Nursery based in Billericay. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a nursery setting and possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a classroom environment, and a drive to foster the development of young children.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring their individual needs are met. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and wellbeing. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive team atmosphere. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
