Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and development while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment. Ensure the nursery is safe, clean, and organised at all times. Support children's individual needs, including those with special educational needs or disabilities. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Skills

Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A solid understanding of the EYFS and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: 24,909.00-25,500.00 per year
