Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our team and contribute to the nurturing and development of children in our group of nursery settings.

Duties

- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English
- Drive the implementation of childcare programs and activities
- Provide leadership in managing and supervising children in the nursery
- Utilise knowledge of early childhood education to create engaging learning experiences
- Oversee and manage the daily care and routines of children in the nursery

Qualifications

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery environment is essential
- Level 3 or above Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION MUST BE IN CHILDCARE AND MUST BE FULL AND RELEVANT. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HOLD THIS.

- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to lead and manage a group of children effectively

- Assist with nappy changes and potty training as needed
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's day and any concerns or updates
- Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for children

Skills:
- Previous experience working with young children essential
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a childcare setting

Pay: 12.21-12.76 per hour
