Our wonderful children are looking for fun, energetic practitioners who would love to join in with our messy play, outdoor adventures and cosy story times. We are so excited to show you our lovely learning spaces that are always filled with laughter, singing and dancing!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fabulous, family focussed team in our lovely little nursery in the beautiful grounds of The Firs Independent School in Chester.

We are looking for two perfect practitioners to work alongside our room leaders. One role is in our Pre-Prep room working with our 3 year olds, and the second role is working across all rooms covering from our Willows room; under 2's, to our Prep room; 3 to 4 year olds.

We pride ourselves on having small sized groups where our practitioners are able to develop close relationships with our children and their families, supporting all our children to be the best they can be!

Applicants

must

have a minimum level 2 qualification, ideally level 3 and preferably hold up to date Paediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene certificates. Ideally you would have some experience working across under 2's rooms but it is not essential if you are willing to learn.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality childcare and support to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining Paediatric First Aid Certification. Collaborate with team members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Salary Practitioner: 12.30 ph = 25,584 pa.

Full time, 51 weeks, 40 hours per week, normally working 4 days out of Monday - Friday, Statutory Holidays

Start date: ASAP July 2025
